2014 marked 20 years since the death of Kurt Cobain. For some reason a lot of artists in Melbourne have made work about Nirvana. Some of these works were gathered alongside reproductions of sourced fan art and portraits in a bootleg-catalogue. Don't Kurt Cobain coincided with the end of Slopes - the 12-month curatorial project space run by Brooke Babbington.
